Project Hessdalen classified this Automatic Measurement Station observation as still unresolved. The marker represents the fixed Blue Box / AMS camera location, not a triangulated position of the observed light.

Official Project Hessdalen analysis: The pictures was taken the 22.November 1998, at 17:26:18 (picture at the left), at 19:28:10 (picture in the middle), and at 22:54:36 (picture to the right). It is the light inside the circle, that is the interesting one. The color on the light is put there by the software. There has been no air-traffic in that area at that time. No detection on the radars at the nearest airport or at the military. There is no indication of any high speed. It seems that the light has been just a small flash. In the picture you see that there is light in every second line. One picture is made by by putting two "half-pictures" together. The first half-picture consist of line no. 1,3,5,7 and so on. The next half-picture consist of the other lines, line no. 2,4,6,8 and so on. There is 20 ms between those two pictures. The light is seen in only one of those two half-pictures. That indicate that the lifetime has been 20 ms or less.
