About UAPLocations
UAPLocations is an independent interface for exploring records released by public institutions and separately labelled community submissions. Presence on the map is not an endorsement of any explanation for an observation.
Map precision
A marker represents only the level of geography supported by the source. Exact or facility-level locations can be plotted tightly; city, state, country, maritime and broad-region locations are marked as approximate. A regional command such as EUCOM or CENTCOM is not converted into a fake incident point.
Unlocated and off-Earth records
Records without a defensible single Earth point remain browseable under UNLOCATED. Records explicitly associated with the Moon, orbit, cislunar space or another non-terrestrial context appear under OFF-EARTH. Keeping these records off the point map prevents visual precision that the source does not support.
Official source vs. community report
Official-source records retain their releasing agency and provenance. Community reports are moderated but remain labelled UNVERIFIED. A report, video, photograph or missing conventional match does not by itself establish that an object is anomalous or extraterrestrial.
Corrections
The archive can correct map interpretation, metadata and presentation while preserving the original-source link. The original agency record remains the primary reference for what the source actually released.
